What is the Rule of Law?

Generally, when we think of a Without Rule of Law (WROL) situation, the first thing that comes to mind is a complete and total collapse. No police, no fire services, nothing at all. That’s generally what we mean.

However, we currently find ourselves in an odd world where things seem to run normally, but the Rule of Law has been set aside, or altered, depending on what group you belong to. One side can riot and destroy things and have their charges dismissed. The other side is charged with crimes for lawfully resisting these attacks. Our friends over at http://www.ForwardObserver.com call this “Gray zone warfare”.

The dictionary defines “Rule of Law” as:

the restriction of the arbitrary exercise of power by subordinating it to well-defined and established laws.

Conversely then, we could call the arbitrary exercise of power by setting aside well-defined and established laws as “Without Rule of Law”.

The most glaring example of this is the case of Saint Kyle of Rittenhouse, the Hero of Kenosha and Defender of the Realm. OK, that may be a bit much, but you get the point. As more and more evidence comes out, it becomes more apparent that he should never have been charged and was only charged to appease the violent mobs that were burning Kenosha to the ground.

My point is not to defend Kyle (the prosecutor already has that nailed down), it’s to point out that the Rule of Law was set aside in this case. There is a well-established right to self-defense in every state. Every person Kyle shot that night, we have now learned, was ARMED. Every person he shot that night was attacking him. We set aside common law protections to charge him to appease the rioters.

We also learned that the FBI destroyed 8K video that they had of the entire event. That should be ringing alarm bells in your head. The FBI knew that they had video of a homicide, yet the destroyed it. Ask yourself why. The Rule of Law has been set aside.

Exculpatory video that was in possession of the Prosecutor was NOT turned over during discovery, because the Rule of Law has been set aside.

Kyle isn’t the only one. We saw video after video of BLM/ANTIFA assaulting people and when someone defended themselves, they were arrested. Now, many of those charges were never filed and police claim they made those arrests just to defuse the situation, but that’s not how it works. You can’t arrest people for lawful activity, yet they did.

When the righteous increase, the people rejoice,

but when the wicked rule, the people groan.

This morning, word came that several Project Veritas reporters had their homes and offices searched by the FBI. The FBI was seeking information on who sold a diary to Project Veritas that allegedly belonged to a member of the Biden family. First, it has been ruled repeatedly in federal courts that Journalists generally cannot be compelled to reveal sources. Second, the sale was arranged by attorneys for both parties, so that information is privileged and protected.

It’s worth noting that when Project Veritas could not verify that the diary ever actually belonged to the Biden family member, they THEMSELVES turned it over to law enforcement, rather than just putting it out in the public eye. They also upheld journalistic standards by refusing to report on it, even though it was damaging to their opposition.

The Rule of Law is being set aside, again.

At this point, you’re wondering, “what’s the point?”

Most people in this nation comply with the law on a voluntary basis, because it’s what good people do. However, when the government decides to arbitrarily set aside or pursue charges on any basis other than the facts (such as the politics of the violator or racial/orientation factors), then you need to re-evaluate your entire lifestyle.

For example, many of you carry a personal protection firearm for defense because you know the laws, got trained and wanted to protect yourself and your family. You RELY on the government acting in good faith and enforcing their self-defense laws fairly & equally, with only regard for case facts. That is NOT what is happening now, so you need to assess your personal risk exposure here. I’m not saying to stop, I’m saying understand things as they ARE, rather than how they should be, and be aware of the risk.

The other point is that you need to consider what comes next. We are facing a January 4th V-word deadline. Many in the already-strained supply chain flat-out refuse to get the vaccine. This will cause the availability of food and gas to plummet, right after Christmas. You need to be planning NOW.

The government is also stepping up its “War on Domestic Terror”, which would be fine, except they are now calling you a domestic terrorist if you want input on your children’s school curriculum or if you say, “Let’s Go, Brandon”. One person who just won a Governor’s race said publicly that he will NOT allow parents any input on running the schools.

They also list interest in preparedness as an indicator of potential violent extremism, along with wanting to exercise your Constitutional rights or support for the Constitution.

I know, everyone thinks “It can’t happen here” or “But it’s not going to get that bad”. It can happen here, and I’d like someone to explain to me how it’s going to get better.

What you can do is continue to quietly prepare, build your tribe, re-evaluate your position, and start operating on a WROL footing. That means being hyper-aware, watching for further breakdowns in the supply chain, and keeping your people close. It also means to stop talking so publicly about everything (I know, I know, I can see my Twitter page). People are reporting their neighbors and tracking your activity more than you know.
