Decisions

Father Beocca

If you follow my writings here and on Twitter, you know how I feel about the show, The Last Kingdom. It’s a great historical drama. One of my favorite scenes features Father Beocca screaming at Lord Uthred, regarding a serious dispute with the King. Beocca screams, “MAKE YOUR CHOICE, BOY” at Uthred and storms out.

This scene came to mind as I watched events unfold over the weekend. Several groups of people have some decisions to make quickly. Before I get to that, we need to cover one piece of Tactical Wisdom that applies directly:

It is for freedom that Christ has set us free.

Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.

Galatians 5:1

We are the first group who needs to make a decision. We get involved in preparedness because we believe in self-sufficiency. We believe in self-determination. We believe in making our choices in our lives.

As we continue down this road, there are parties that want to remove our ability to be self-sufficient. They want to end your ability to obtain firearms and ammunition. They want you to rely on government mandates (like unproven medicines) for “safety”. Your safety is YOUR responsibility, and it’s YOUR choice to decide how best to do that, such as whether or not you take such medicines. You need to decide if you want to allow the government to make that decision for you, but that’s SLAVERY, and Paul warned us about it above.

They also want to order you back into house arrest for an illness that you don’t have. There is literally no legal Constitutional basis for this, but they want to do it. And, they want you to accept their payments, so that you rely on them for income. That’s SLAVERY.

The next group who needs to make a decision are American Law Enforcement officers. Before I say why, let me give you another piece of Tactical Wisdom:

    …but honors those who fear the Lord;
who keeps an oath even when it hurts,
    and does not change their mind;

Psalm 15:4

In Portland this Saturday, a prayer group held an event at a park and were immediately attacked by ANTIFA. ANTIFA pepper sprayed people without provocation, they stole several speakers and damaged them, and stole speaker stands. This actually constitutes armed robbery. The police did nothing.

The group left the park and were pursued throughout the downtown area by ANTIFA. There is video of one group walking down the street, and ANTIFA runs up & pepper sprays them without provocation, RIGHT NEXT TO A POLICE CAR. The prayer group fought back, then ran over to the police car to report the crime. The police never got out of their car.

When I posted about this, someone said “You don’t know what the city told them”. Correction: I don’t CARE what the city told them. That’s right. Because they swore an Oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States. That Constitution guarantees EVERYONE equal protection under the law. It also guarantees the Freedom to Exercise Religion. Inaction is not fulfilling that Oath.

There is a WAR against Christianity in the United States. Start defending your faith. Reminder: Jesus was NOT a pacifist. He specifically told His followers that they would be attacked that and they should possess the means to defend themselves. See my post on The Morality of Self Defense.

Officers: Fulfill your Oath of Office or find another job. Make your choice. Neutrality isn’t a choice in this issue.

American consumers need to make a choice. This week, Apple announced that they will be inspecting EVERY PHOTO on EVERY APPLE DEVICE, claiming that they are looking for “child pornography”. That was a brilliant move, because if you protest the violation of your privacy, they’ll say “You must support child pornography”.

All rights taken away are taken away in the name of noble causes. Those rights never come back.

Answer me this: Do you really think they’re only looking for pornography? What are the odds that if they see a Militia flag, they report you to the FBI? Guns? You in DC the week of the 6th?

Make a decision: Either replace your Apple phone and never buy another, or stop complaining about your right to privacy and your right to be free from unreasonable search and seizure. I know, the 4th Amendment only blocks government action, but the government has been using businesses to circumvent the 4th for a long time.

For example, research license plate readers. Courts have ruled that police can’t keep records of your daily travels by license plate without a warrant. However, if a PRIVATE COMPANY maintains the records, police can query those files, getting around it.

Another way they do this is via Ring. Police agencies are attending neighborhood watch meetings, asking you to authorize them to access your Ring doorbell camera to assist them in protecting your neighborhood. Once you sign up, they can access ALL of your recordings, WITHOUT your knowledge. You waived your 4th Amendment rights. They encouraged you too.

In the United States, we are NOT supposed to be placed under surveillance IN CASE you ever commit a crime. We only do it AFTER you’ve been accused of one.

Make the decision to reclaim and never relinquish ANY of your rights in the name of safety or security. Retain your privacy and protections, as well the ability to choose.

What can we do, as people interested in preparedness?

  1. Do not give consent to view your recordings. This also means don’t install listening devices like Alexa or Google Home.
  2. Stop buying products from companies that want to spy on you for the government, as much as possible.
  3. Buy and use a Faraday bag for your phones.
  4. Stop relying on the police for your protection.
    1. Learn the laws in your state about self defense.
    2. Learn the laws in your state about carrying weapons/knives.
    3. Learn the laws in your state about citizens arrest (to allow you to remove people from where you are who are violent).
    4. Learn the laws in your state about trespassing & owner’s rights.
    5. Learn the laws in your state about burglary.
    6. Start wearing/carrying your own body camera (at least have it available).
  5. Have a tribe of people you can call for assistance and protection, outside of the police.

But the most important thing you can do is MAKE YOUR CHOICE, BOY!!.

Thanks for listening to my rant.
