Make A Decision

Moorish American Arms

Overnight, a group calling itself the Moorish American Arms was stopped while refueling vehicles on the freeway in Massachusetts. This led to a standoff in which 11 men were arrested.

Because it was a black supremacist Muslim group, many applauded the MA State Police. I hold a different position, because until this group breaks the law, they have the same rights the rest of us do. For the record, 18 USC 926A makes their actions last night as far as firearms transport LEGAL, despite what Massachusetts law says.

If you truly think that the Constitution is inviolable, then you have to believe it is that way for people you don’t like. You can’t demand your Second Amendment right, while also cheering on police violating that same right for the Moorish American Arms. You can’t demand your right to march with firearms, and at the same time say that Black Lives Matter shouldn’t be able to.

But that’s not the point of this preparedness article. Bear with me. The point is that they were on their way to train for a coming struggle.

Othal Wallace

A week ago, Othal Wallace shot a Daytona officer in the face. Wallace belongs to the NFAC and espouses the same Moorish/Black Hebrew Israelite ideology that the Moorish American Arms group did. Wallace’s case is significant, because the New Black Panthers and the NFAC hid him in a network of safe houses and transportation assets until he was caught.

As I write this, ANTIFA is outside the Wi Spa, assaulting people with impunity for protesting against a man who exposed himself to children. The police are just standing by watching. When one Asian man resisted an assault and used lawful self-defense, the police swooped in and hauled him away.

Also this week, the US Army soldier who shot Garrett Foster last year is charged with homicide, despite it being a clear-cut case of self defense.

So, what’s the point of all this? The point is that we all need to make a decision. Most people interested in preparedness, are also interested in self-defense. The two go hand-in-hand.

You have to decide right now if you are willing to risk your freedom, your job, and your 401k in defense of yourself or others. We are seeing the unequal application of the law and you need to consider this.

This stems from a discussion I had earlier today on Twitter where a guy said that we’ve already lost and we just have to adjust our lives. Adjust our lives to what? Allowing a lawless mob to assault and rob us? Allowing the police to abdicate their responsibility and let the mob rule? I’m sorry, I just can’t do that. I swore an Oath.

A piece of preparedness that no one considers is this exact thing. Are you prepared to stand by your principles and do what is right, no matter the consequences? If the consequences are too great for you, then you are not into preparedness at all, and you might as well stop pretending and just surrender.

The other decision is that if you are going to support rights, you have to support them for all. Even an extremist group that is opposed to your existence. Until they ACTUALLY break the law, we should be supporting their exercise of the same rights that you demand.

Also, if every other group around you is preparing for war, shouldn’t you?

But, what can we as people into preparedness do?

First, practice Don’t-Be-There-Jitsu. You can’t be drawn into a situation if you aren’t there. Remember our ultimate goal….Survival.

Second, buy and wear a body camera. The same guy said, “If we have to wear a camera everywhere we go, then we’ve already lost”. First, not wearing a camera isn’t going to stop them from attacking, so that response makes no sense. Second, these groups selectively edit video, so you need to have your own unedited video. And lastly, just like a first aid kit, if you intend to carry a firearm, you should carry a camera in case you need to use the firearm. Video is the best evidence you can have.

I guess the biggest takeaway from this rant of mine is that just because you don’t want a civil conflict in the US, that doesn’t mean one isn’t happening anyway. Pretending it’s not coming is not preparedness. We prepare for the worst case. Complete surrender won’t end the random street violence, it will EMBOLDEN it.

You don’t have to pick a side and fight, but you do have to realize that it is indeed happening and can affect your preparedness. It can affect your family, whether you want it to or not. Someone intent on harming you isn’t going to stop just because you don’t fight back.

You got into preparedness for a reason, ACT LIKE IT. Here’s a quote from the Ultimate Tactical Handbook to reinforce this:

Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.

  1. Gen. 14:14 “When Abram heard that his relative had been taken captive, he led out his trained men, born in his house, numbering 318, and went in pursuit as far as Dan.”

Trained men. Trained for conflict, trained for battle, trained for war.

Training is a good thing 🙂
